*These concerns should occupy our attention each day for the next 40 days*
A) For the nations of the World and for their healing
B) For the United States of America and its Leadership.
For the President Donald J. Trump
For the US Senate and the Congress
For Governors of the 50 states and the Territories
For Mayors across America
C. For Doctors, Nurses, hospital personnel, EMS workers, Policemen, firefighters, for Scientist and Lab Technicians, Grocery Clerks and baggers, and suppliers in the food chain, for their safety and security as they put their own lives in danger in the
Public’s interest.
D. For families who have lost relatives and loved ones to the virus, that they may be comforted and gain peace of mind.
E. For individuals who are currently fighting the virus on a personal level in
hospitals, some even on respirators and breathing machines. Some struggling to conquer the virus in isolation, some all alone.
That they may be assured of God’s presence with them at a time when they feel so alone and so vulnerable.
F. For Those who work or volunteer to deliver food, medications and other staples/supplies to those who are shut-in during and due to the crisis.
G. For Families who must be separated because of the pandemic.

I. For people to carefully consider that God may be trying to get the world’s undivided attention (since this is a world pandemic).

24 HR Prayer Vigil Concerns
Walker Memorial Baptist Church
Rev. Dr. Joe A. Bush, Sr.
I suggest that each believer approaching prayer should give him/herself solely to the business of prayer, turning off cell phones, I-pads, laptops, desktops, and television to reduce any possible distractions during your daily prayer.
Secondly, it is my strong suggestion that you find and chose a special spot where you will pray daily, a place where you will have the least interruption, such as the other bed room; the bathroom, or the closet, etc.
Nothing should be allowed to distract you, as you are in conversation with God, the Creator of the universe and the King of Glory.
Choose one of the following postures for your prayer period:
Sitting at a desk or table
Kneeling by a chair (a bed is not good as it may make you too comfortable
Do these things a half hour before your prayer session begins:
Carefully read, prayerfully read Psalm 80, really read it.
Drink a bottle of water at room temperature, if you wish to keep that bottle near you while in prayer-OK.
Remember, that you are a son or daughter of the Most High God, come before him boldly, but humbly and reverently.
Begin your prayer with much Praise and Adoration to God, then move to honest confession of your personal sins and the nation’s sins.
You should then begin interceding for things and persons found above in A-H.
When you have interceded for the those mentioned in A-H, you now begin to petition God for your own personal needs. Be bold with God, but don’t be selfish in your request. Ask yourself if what you are asking God is really for yourself, or is it for God’s glory.
Finish your prayer with much sincere thanksgiving to God for what you have just prayed for.
